The Papua New Guinea province of Morobe has been inundated over the past several months, culminating in severe flooding that has taken lives and swept away key bridges.

The Post Courier reports there have been three deaths with two caught by a landslide and one person washed away.

RNZ Pacific's PNG correspondent, Scott Waide, told Don Wiseman about the damage that has been done to a major bridge linking Lae to the regional airport, Nadzab.
